Bronny James being drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers and teaming with his father, LeBron James, has been the story of the summer during this NBA offseason, and deservedly so as this is something fans have never seen before and will likely never see again.
The hype has reached the point where we even have rappers chiming in, as Lil Wayne decided to make a bold statement about Bronny on Undisputed.
Skip Bayless asked him if he could see Bronny ever making an All-Star game, to which Wayne replied, “definitely” and praised Bronny for not showing any fear and having a willingness to be aggressive.

Wayne was impressed with what he has seen from Bronny in Summer League so far even though Bronny is averaging just 3.5 points per game in his first two matchups.
Paul Pierce had to be biting his tongue as hard as he possibly could listening to this take, as this might go down in history as the point where the Bronny hype started to tip the scales.
As the 55th overall pick and coming off a freshman year at USC where he averaged just 4.8 points per game, it’s unnecessary to put this kind of pressure on Bronny regardless of what his last name is.
If he plays at all, he’ll be eased into the rotation, but it’s more likely that new head coach JJ Redick doesn’t play him for a long time, and there is no reason to as he is a rookie second-round pick who could use some time learning behind the scenes.
