Moore was signed as an undrafted free agent back in 2019 out of Ole Miss.
He spent the first three seasons of his career with the Lions before joining the practice squad of the Houston Texans in 2022.
Later that season, he went back to Detroit after being signed off of Houston’s practice squad.
Before Moore was suspended prior to the 2023 season, he had signed a two-year extension with Detroit.
The Lions eventually released him once they got wind of his impending suspension.
Now, after being reinstated, he is back on Dan Campbell’s team and a part of defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn’s defense.
The 28-year-old veteran will bring more help to a pass defense that finished ranked 26th in the league.
His best career season came back in 2021 when he recorded 22 total tackles, 1 interception, and 1 pass deflection.
He played in 56 career games over four years prior to the suspension.
This is one of those glue moves that can help put a good team over the top.
He will also bring help on special teams, which is an area that Dan Campbell definitely prides himself on.
