What has been a banner season for the Detroit Lions will continue on Sunday when they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs.

In the wild-card round, they squeaked past the Los Angeles Rams 24-23 in what was their first home playoff game in over 30 years and their first playoff victory since the 1991-92 season.

Lions fans have plenty to be stoked about these days, and against the Rams, they were incredibly loud at Ford Field, as the team pointed out on its official Twitter account.

According to the CDC, a decibel level of 133.6 is higher than what one will experience when they’re standing beside or near an emergency vehicle with it’s sirens on and just below the decibel level of firecrackers.

“Think you can top this Sunday,#OnePride?” the Lions said.

The CDC also states that a decibel level of 133.6 can not only cause pain but also hearing loss and even an ear injury.

Lions fans have been willing to take those risks in order to see their team do things it hasn’t done in many years and possibly make a run at the Super Bowl, a place it has never gotten to.

Getting past Tampa Bay will not be easy, as quarterback Baker Mayfield has had a revelatory year, and wide receivers Chris Godwin and Mike Evans have been playing well.

In addition, Detroit may have some holes in their passing defense, which ranked just 27th in yards and touchdowns allowed in the regular season.

But it appears they have a clear path to at least the NFC Championship Game if they simply play up to their potential.
