The Detroit Lions will kick off their 2024 NFL season very soon.

However, rookie CB Terrion Arnold wasn’t going to miss his alma mater’s first game of the season.

The first-round rookie was at Tuscaloosa to be in attendance of the Alabama Crimson Tide’s Week 1 matchup with Western Kentucky.

That’s why he made the most of the opportunity to link up with the greatest head coach in college football history.

Arnold took to X to show a pic with HC Nick Saban, captioning it ‘GOAT stuff.’

Notably, it was an odd sight not having Coach Saban on the sidelines for the Crimson Tide.

Saban, however, is still a part of the game, appearing in the broadcast and sharing his input in a different capacity.

Arnold, on the other hand, could have a bright future in the league, just like dozens of his Alabama colleagues.

He struggled with injuries in training camp, but the talent to contribute right away is more than evident.

The Crimson Tide has been a never-ending pool of NFL talent, and while the SEC as a whole continues to provide more and more NFL players, Alabama still holds the crown.

They started the season on the right foot, thrashing Western Kentucky 63-0.

However, now that Coach Saban isn’t there, they will have to prove that they will continue to be one of the strongest powerhouses in all of college football.
