For years, the Detroit Lions were viewed as one of the worst teams in the NFL.

They have had some fantastic players suit up for the organization, but for whatever reason, they were unable to materialize that into tangible playoff success.

The tides do seem to be changing, however, as the Lions made it to the NFC Championship last year.

They have spent a lot of time crafting their roster to compete with their peers, and it is now starting to show on the field.

One of the players they have added in recent years was David Montgomery, who previously played for the Chicago Bears.

Montgomery was a solid player for the Bears, but fans were unsure of what he would be able to do in this offense, especially with Jahmyr Gibbs also in the backfield.

He has adapted well to this role on the Lions and scored 13 touchdowns last year.

If this is an indication of what he will do in 2024, the Lions could be on pace to find similar success to what they had last year.

Montgomery seems to be in peak shape already, as he and B/R Gridiron recently shared a video of him deadlifting a lot of weight, showcasing how strong and explosive his legs are.

The Lions are starting to build something special, which starts with all of the players on their roster buying into Dan Campbell’s schemes, trusting that he has the right plan in place for them moving forward.
