We haven’t seen Lonzo Ball of the Chicago Bulls play basketball for more than two seasons now, but there was a time when he was one of the hottest and most exciting young players in the league.
And although he didn’t talk a lot of trash on the court, there were a few moments of him butting heads with other players.
Speaking to “The WAE Show,” per ClutchPoints, Ball spoke about the time that he and Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors talked some trash.
He said there was a game when he scored on someone and then did the “too small” gesture.
Green shot back at Ball by saying, “You not like that.”
This started a little back-and-forth between Ball and Green, one of the few instances of Ball getting into a trash-talking incident.
“You ain’t like that.”

It’s not surprising that Green was the one who brought this side out of Ball.
Throughout his career, Green has caused many NBA players to get fired up and rowdy on the court, even when they haven’t been before.
We haven’t seen Ball act like this very often.
Then again, we haven’t seen Ball do much of anything lately.
He missed the last two seasons because of a troubling knee injury that he can’t seem to get over.
Even the team’s best doctors haven’t been able to create a treatment plan that has gotten Ball back on the court.
With that being said, there is optimism that he will finally be ready to play when the 2024-25 season kicks off in a few months.
However, he will be joining a Bulls team that looks much different than the one he left.
DeMar DeRozan and Alex Caruso have already departed from the team and more trades could happen soon.
Ball is finally ready to play again, and is he ready to talk trash again too?
