The Washington Commanders saw a changing of the guard at offensive coordinator this offseason.

They brought in long-time Kansas City Chiefs OC Eric Bieniemy.

Bieniemy is expected to change the culture of offense for the Commanders.

All Bieniemy knows is how to lead an explosive offense.

He did that every year in Kansas City and the same should be expected in Washington.

In their first preseason game, we saw Commanders starter Sam Howell look sharp.

He went 9/12 for 77 yards and one touchdown.

ESPN analyst Louis Riddick thinks the Commanders will be explosive this year and exciting to watch.

Riddick went as far as to say that Washington can score with anyone in the league.

Despite having an inexperienced quarterback in Howell, Bieniemy will put him in a position to succeed.

Also, the Commanders have a good group of pass catchers.

Wide receivers Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson are very good players that know how to get open.

They should make life easy on Howell and allow him to make easy throws.

Washington has not had much success in recent years at quarterback.

They hope Howell can turn into their quarterback of the future.

The Commanders will have their work cut out for them in the NFC East.

Both Dallas and Philadelphia have great rosters and should be playoff teams.

It will be fun to watch this season unfold and see if Bieniemy can coach his way into becoming a head coach next offseason.
