Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic is without a doubt one of the best players in the NBA today, as he is nearly impossible to stop when he has the basketball, as he can do anything on the offensive end of the floor.
However, Doncic doesn’t come without a considerable amount of faults, from being a bad defensive player to being unable to resist the urge to get into it with the referees on a nightly basis.
Doncic has a problem when it comes to complaining while on the basketball court, as he’s constantly going at the refs for this or that, which makes him prone to foul and occasionally getting thrown out of the game due to his on-court behavior.
This was never more evident than during the FIBA World Cup when he was kicked out of an elimination game for Slovenia against Canada, where Houston Rockets forward Dillon Brooks was also given the boot.
Fortunately, Doncic admits that his on-court behavior has become a problem and something that he needs to fix moving forward if he’s ever going to have success playing for Slovenia and the Mavericks.
Doncic admits that he struggles to control himself when emotions start swirling on the basketball court, according to HoopsHype.
Luka Doncic after losing to Canada: “There’s a lot of emotions. A lot of times I don’t control myself, which I’ve been having problems with. But, you know, the referees told one of the guys we’re not gonna call a foul on him because he’s coming at us. I think this is not fair.” pic.twitter.com/dRhEsm16Tw

Although many superstars in the NBA today tend to complain habitually, with Doncic sitting near the top of the list along with LeBron James, Draymond Green, and Russell Westbrook, there comes a point when it is detrimental to the team and proves costly.
Doncic is getting to the point in his career where he is going to start getting a lot of criticism for not winning and spending entirely too much time complaining, so something needs to change sooner rather than later in Dallas.
