The Dallas Mavericks traded for Luka Doncic in the 2018 NBA Draft.
It turned out to be one of the best decisions made by the franchise in recent history.
Apart from being a phenomenal basketball player, Doncic seemingly has a knack for getting into it with one particular NBA superstar.
Yes, we are talking about none other than Doncic’s well-documented rivalry with the Phoenix Suns superstar Devin Booker.
However, Doncic recently cleared the air about not having a huge beef with Booker, instead, it’s simply part of playing competitive basketball in the NBA via Malike Andrews – ESPN on YouTube.
“He’s a really, really great player. But obviously we have this competition whenever we face each other,” Doncic said of Booker.
Luka Doncic had big praise for Devin Booker, claiming that the Phoenix Suns superstar is actually a great player.
It’s a huge compliment for Booker from Doncic, who is regarded as one of the faces of the NBA.
As far as the fierce rivalry between the two stars is concerned, Doncic and Booker have always given their 100% when playing against each other.
Those battles have resulted in some of the best one-on-one battles between the two stars, which ultimately led to most fans believing that they have a beef.
Either way, the two superstars are all set to face off against each other on NBA Christmas Day.
