Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks wasn’t just battling the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night, he was also battling a heckler in the stands.
In the middle of the tough loss to Phoenix, Doncic asked that a courtside fan be ejected, allegedly for yelling: “Luka, you’re tired! Get you a– on the treadmill!”
Doncic’s reaction has been the talk of the NBA world since and he spoke about it on Thursday with the NBA on TNT crew.
Admitting that he was very frustrated for a number of reasons, a humbled Doncic said: “It was just a lot of emotions…When I’m wrong, I admit it. I probably shouldn’t have done that.”

Doncic notched 34 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists in Wednesday’s loss and the heckling spectator was just one of the many issues bothering him.
His team was getting worked by the Suns, he received a technical foul for the second consecutive game, and he twisted his ankle earlier in the game as well.
Following the game, Doncic shared a contentious moment with reporters, particularly Tim MacMahon, who he called out for always writing bad articles about him.
The Mavericks have now lost three games in a row and have fallen to the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
Things could get even worse because they have a very rough set of games ahead.
Within the next couple of weeks, Dallas will play the Sacramento Kings, Minnesota Timberwolves, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers, and others.
They were once one of the best teams in the West but they have faced several tough losses and missteps lately.
It sounds like Doncic is ready to get his head on straight, put his emotions to the side, and push into this challenging phase of the season.
