The Dallas Mavericks’ postseason run has been one for the ages.
They were underdogs in all of their series thus far, taking down the No. 4 seed Los Angeles Clippers before beating the No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder and No. 2 seed Minnesota Timberwolves.
Now, they’re looking to do the same against their toughest rival yet, the Boston Celtics, who had the best record in the Association.
Needless to say, that will be easier said than done, especially now that they’re down 3-1 in the NBA Finals.
But even if they fail to do so, Luka Doncic has already secured a spot in history with this epic postseason run.
As shown by Yahoo Sports on Twitter, the Slovenian star could become the first player to lead the postseason in points, assists, rebounds, and steals.

Of course, Doncic would most definitely trade that for an NBA championship every single day of the week, but that’s still a pretty impressive feat, and something that not even legends of the game like Michael Jordan or LeBron James were able to do.
Also, the fact that he’s done it without playing a Game 7 makes it all the more impressive.
Doncic has been up and down in the NBA Finals, and his performance in Game 3 may have cost his team a legitimate chance to win the whole thing this season.
Then again, he’s also been one of the best — if not the best — player on Earth, and he just proved what he was capable of now that he finally has a solid supporting cast around him.
