Over the past several seasons, Luka Doncic has been among the best players in the NBA.
He has brought the Dallas Mavericks back to relevance, becoming the face of the franchise in the post-Dirk Nowitzki era.
Doncic’s performances have been especially strong in the Mavericks’ last two games, as he has scored over 36 points in each contest.
When asked about his recent dominance, Doncic responded, “Everybody said it’s the headband; I say it’s me.”

The reason behind Doncic’s impressive stretch seemingly doesn’t matter to fans.
Whatever it is, it seems to be working, and they’d like him to keep it up.
The Mavericks are currently the fourth-best team in the Western Conference, sporting a 12-8 record.
Doncic’s latest masterpieces have kept them among the league’s best teams, which could be an indicator of what’s to come down the stretch.
Under Doncic’s leadership, the Mavericks have made the playoffs in three of the past four seasons.
They made it to the Western Conference Finals two years ago, falling to the Golden State Warriors in five games.
While this was disappointing, as they missed the playoffs last season, Doncic and his teammates seem determined to shift the tides this year.
Doncic is coming off a game where he achieved a triple-double in the first half, an impressive feat for any player.
His teammates have continued to rally around him, which seems to be helping the Mavericks’ cause.
How Doncic and the Mavericks finish the season remains to be seen.
If their recent play is any indication, the Mavericks will be a tough out in the postseason.
