Now that Inside the NBA’s future might be in serious peril, the fans and players are finally giving the guys their flowers.
There have been countless memorable moments on the show, from Shaquille O’Neal tripping and falling, all the way to Charles Barkley’s infamous predictions.
It’s become a running gig that everybody knows that once the legendary power forward ‘guarantees’ a team will win, chances are they will lose.
Notably, that happened again ahead of the Dallas Mavericks’ Game 5 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder when Barkley predicted the Thunder would blow the Mavericks out.
Following the game, Luka Doncic cracked a laugh about that and, instead of taking it personally, he admitted that he actually loves those guys and loves the show and is a big fan of it.
“Maybe next time he can say it again in the next game so maybe we’ll win again.”

Still, he urged them to make that kind of prediction again before the next game, to make sure they will win again (via NBA on TNT).
This time, however, it wasn’t just Barkley as the only one who thought the Mavs stood no chance in this game.
All panelists, including Draymond Green — who was a guest on the show — chose Mark Daigneault’s side before this contest.
Now, the Mavs are one win away from the Western Conference Finals, and they’ll hope Barkley doesn’t give them the nod against whoever they face, assuming they move on.
