The Dallas Mavericks are one win away from the Western Conference Finals.
They are fresh off a Game 5 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, a team that many believed the Mavericks would struggle against.
Both teams have stars that can go off every night, but in Game 5, it was Luka Doncic who stole the show.
Doncic finished the game with a triple-double, and he also added a game-sealing block in the fourth quarter.
Because this game was in Oklahoma City, Doncic received a lot of hate and boos throughout the game, mainly due to his elite play.
He was asked about this in a postgame press conference, which was shared by NBATV via Hoop Central.
“And when they chant, ‘Luka sucks,’ it gets me going,” Doncic said.

Similar to many marquee stars across the league, Doncic seems to like the hate.
It seems like it only fuels him and propels him to get better, which was the case in Game 5.
Doncic has the ability to take over a game at any time, which was put on full display in Oklahoma City on Wednesday night.
Assuming the Mavericks close this series out, Doncic will have a tough matchup waiting for him, whether it’s the Minnesota Timberwolves or the Denver Nuggets.
It will be interesting to see how far Doncic can take this team, and if he can keep this level of play up throughout the rest of the playoffs.
