The Dallas Mavericks had one of the best starts to the 2023-24 NBA season in the entire league.

However, even the dynamic duo of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving couldn’t stop the Mavericks from hitting somewhat of a rough patch over the last 10 games.

The Mavericks have seemingly gotten back on track following a phenomenal win against the Houston Rockets.

It improved the Mavs’ record to 11-6, as they hold the third seed in the Western Conference.

Once again, it was Doncic who stole the highlights with his 41-point performance against the Rockets.

Speaking of Doncic, a picture of the European superstar went viral on Twitter, featuring him and former Super Bowl champion Andrew Whitworth exchanging jerseys.

As many fans may have noticed, both Doncic and Whitworth don the No. 77 on their respective jerseys.

Keeping that in mind, the jersey exchange looked even more iconic to the eye of a common fan.

While the image certainly received a lot of love from fans on Twitter, another thing that fans primarily focused on was how well Doncic played against the Rockets.

Speaking of which, Doncic had 41 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists against the Rockets.

In the 121-115 win, Doncic was just one rebound and an assist shy of registering yet another triple-double in his career.

As we mentioned earlier, the victory helped the Mavericks in improving their record to 11-6.

The primary credit for such an amazing start goes to Doncic, who is averaging 31.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 7.9 assists per game for the Mavericks this season.
