The NBA has seen some truly remarkable players throughout the years.
Players like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James are typically lauded for being some of the best players of all time for various reasons.
Other players have been highly regarded for their defense, shooting ability, or leadership.
Vince Carter is commonly viewed as one of the most explosive electric players to step onto the hardwood, and he was recently recognized at a national level for his accomplishments.
Carter was elected to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, which has led to many current and former players giving him public endorsements.
One of the biggest names to compliment him was Magic Johnson, who wrote a heartfelt note on Twitter.
Johnson put together a highlight reel of Carter’s best plays, saying, “Vince is one of the most unstoppable players that’s ever played the game, with dunks in a class of their own!”

Fans will remember Carter for his trash-talking, his big-play abilities, and, of course, his dunk contest performances.
Carter has made some of the most memorable dunk contest dunks in league history, setting trends for future players to try and live up to.
The dunk contest hasn’t quite been the same since Carter stopped competing.
After a career spanning more than 20 seasons, fans will be disappointed to not see him on a court ever again.
The good news is that his highlight reel plays will live on throughout the course of history, an indication of how iconic Carter’s career was.
