It wasn’t easy, but the Washington Commanders started off the season with a win.
It was the beginning of the Josh Harris and Magic Johnson era in charge of the team, and there was no shortage of stars in attendance.
From diehard Commanders fan Kevin Durant to reigning NBA MVP Joel Embiid, NHL star Alex Ovechkin, Fanatics owner Michael Rubin, and many more, the Los Angeles Lakers legend shared several pics on social media.

The Commanders were seven-point favorites vs. the Arizona Cardinals for the season opener.
Sam Howell looked excellent early in the game, putting his team in front with a beautiful pass for his first touchdown of the season.
But their offense wasn’t exactly in sync for the remainder of the game, and Eric Bieniemy will have to tweak some things to solve their issues ahead of next Sunday’s matchup.
The Cardinals are projected to be the worst team in the entire league, yet the Commanders struggled after some offensive miscues.
Granted that Sam Howell is no Patrick Mahomes and no offense turns the page overnight, fans and analysts expected more from the Commanders’ playmakers in the first game of the Bieniemy era.
Then again, all that matters is that they got the job done and won the game, and their defense looked as good as expected, even without Chase Young on the field.
Now, the Commanders hit the road for a matchup vs. Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos at Empower Field, and that’ll be a much more difficult test.
