The entire sports community — and obviously, the NBA, first and foremost — are with the James family right now.
LeBron James’ eldest son, Bronny, reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed at USC practice.
He was rushed to the hospital, but the family reports that he’s out of danger, stable, and no longer in the ICU.
That’s why Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson took to Twitter to share his thoughts and prayers, sending LeBron and Savannah James his wishes for a speedy recovery.
Cookie and I are praying for LeBron and Savannah’s son Bronny after hearing he suffered a cardiac arrest. We are praying and hoping he makes a full and speedy recovery

Bronny recently committed to play for the University of Southern California, putting an end to years of speculation and recruiting.
The older boy in the James household has quickly risen in most NBA mock drafts, going from a fringe one-and-done prospect to one of the best defenders in his class.
For years, fans speculated about LeBron’s desire to play as long as it took to be on the court with his firstborn, a narrative that he confirmed a couple of years ago.
James’ contract with the Los Angeles Lakers runs through the next couple of seasons, but he has a player option in his final year, meaning he could become an unrestricted free agent and sign with whichever team gets Bronny in the draft.
Even so, we shouldn’t get so ahead of ourselves right now, as all that matters is that he’s okay and out of danger, and his future career as a professional basketball player should be the last thing on anyone’s minds during this complicated moment.
