The New York Giants haven’t had a playmaking wide receiver since Odell Beckham Jr.

And while Daniel Jones hasn’t been particularly sharp, it’s hard to excel when you don’t have the right weapons.

That’s why the team decided to give him one of the most promising players entering the league this season by getting Malik Nabers.

The LSU star is a born playmaker, and it was evident in the latest clip shared by Giants Videos on Twitter.

Jones threw a bomb outside of the numbers in a place only that Nabers could get it, but still, it took an acrobatic diving catch to secure the grab.

Nabers looks like a stud in the making, and he could single-handedly turn the Giants offense from a pedestrian one into a decent one.

Brian Daboll’s team isn’t expected to compete at the highest level, and they might have a tough time trying to catch up with other contending teams in their division, particularly the Dallas Cowboys or Philadelphia Eagles.

They should fare better defensively with the additions they made, but their offense is still a big question mark.

Losing their best player in Saquon Barkley could be a big blow, and Devin Singletary has some big shoes to fill.

But if Nabers turns out to be as good as expected right out of the gate, Jones might even be able to hold onto his job for a little longer amid all the rumors of this potentially being his final season with the Giants organization.
