The Chicago Cubs will soon be traveling to London to take on their arch rivals, the St. Louis Cardinals, in the London Series.

The first London Series took place in 2019, when the Boston Red Sox took on the New York Yankees.

St. Louis and Chicago were set to play in London in 2020 before the pandemic wiped it off the schedule.

This year, the two teams will finally meet in London.

Right-hander Marcus Stroman was signed by the Cubs to a three-year deal prior to the lockout.

Recently, Stroman did something special for his Cubs teammates, surprising them with a Nintendo Switch for the flight to London, as was reported by Cubs writer Jordan Bastian.

The flight to London next week is going to be a long one for sure.

But Stroman was kind enough to find a way for he and his Cubs teammates to pass the time.

A Nintendo Switch is the perfect way to do that.

It’s anybody’s guess as to what Stroman and his teammates will play on the Switch.

There are plenty of options.

Regardless, the Cubs should be covered for their flight to London.

It’ll be a long one, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it has to be boring.

It could be a good way for the Cubs to bond as a team and grow closer with one another.

The Cubs will have two off-days between their series finale with the Pittsburgh Pirates on June 21 and their series opener in London against the Cardinals.

It appears that one of those days will be used for time on the Nintendo Switch.
