The New England Patriots might have a big problem on their hands.
Their best player isn’t happy with his current situation, and they might have to make a tough decision sooner rather than later.
According to a report by Greg Bedard, Judon isn’t going to play under his current deal (via Patriots on CLNS Media).
“He is not going to play under his current contract.” @GregABedard provides an update on Matthew Judon’s negotiations with the Patriots.

Bedard reported that, as much as Judon is playing nice in public and saying all the right things, people close to the organization have made it seem as if he’s just not going to cave.
Apparently, the Patriots and Judon aren’t close on extension talks, and Bedard believes they could be forced to consider trading him before the start of the season if things don’t change soon.
A recent report revealed that the Patriots have already made him an offer, but it’s not even in the ballpark of what he’s currently expecting.
The 31-year-old Pro Bowler is about to enter the final year of his deal, and he’s going to make $6.5 million next season.
The Patriots won’t be a competitive team any time soon, but their defense is significantly ahead of schedule when compared to their offense, so they can’t afford to enter the season without Judon out there.
