Heading into the 2023 NFL season, the league received another influx of young talent at the quarterback position, with Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, Anthony Richardson and Will Levis all having a legitimate shot at being longtime starters.

Although all four of these quarterbacks could be household names in the near future, Stroud is already considered by many to be a superstar and one of the best quarterbacks in the league after his performance as the starter for the Houston Texans last season.

Stroud was a question mark coming into the 2023 NFL Draft, as many believed Young was the better all-around prospect at the quarterback position, but that’s no longer the case after the Ohio State product led the Texans to the NFL playoffs while Young managed only two wins with the Carolina Panthers.

With Stroud bursting onto the scene in the NFL last season, the Texans rising star has gotten a lot of attention on and off the field, especially from his peers, like Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams.

Stafford recently revealed what he likes about watching Stroud play the game on the NFL level via the Rams’ Twitter account.

“He throws the ball with ease and plays with calm aggression, which I like,” Stafford said.

Ahead of the start of the 2024 NFL season, the Rams will travel to Houston to take on the Texans at NRG Stadium before both teams finalize their rosters and determine who they’ll have with them in Week 1.

The Texans and Rams won’t see each other during the 2024 campaign unless both teams reach the Super Bowl.
