The Dallas Mavericks need to bounce back.
They cannot afford to fall to a 0-2 hole vs. a team like the Boston Celtics, not even if they will have two games back home.
Fortunately for them, Luka Doncic always responds when they need him.
As shown by ClutchPoints on Twitter, the Mavs haven’t lost back-to-back games throughout the course of the entire playoffs.

On top of that, his scoring average has risen from 28.8 points all the way to 32.6.
The Mavs haven’t lost a Game 2 in the playoffs either, so they know that this is not the time to panic.
They will have to do a better job of keeping everybody involved in the offense.
Doncic clearly can handle most of the offensive load and shoulder this heavy burden, but this is a team sport, first and foremost.
Kyrie Irving left plenty to be desired in his return to the TD Garden, and he stirred the pot by calling out Celtics fans shortly after the game, stating that he thought it would be louder.
The fans will now give him a taste of that Boston hospitality and he could use it as fuel to step up and give Doncic a helping hand.
The Mavs have more than enough resources to even things up and make this one an interesting series.
Still, the Celtics have also been battle-tested and have been here in the past, so Jason Kidd’s team will have to be at it’s very best to leave TD Garden with a win.
