The Los Angeles Dodgers are on a roll.

On Wednesday afternoon, they completed a three-game sweep over the defending National League champion Philadelphia Phillies.

And they won the game in style too.

Los Angeles slugger Max Muncy came to the plate with the bases loaded and the game tied at six in the bottom of the ninth inning.

With one out, Muncy hit one out to deep right field off of former Dodger Craig Kimbrel.

The ball cleared the wall for a grand slam, and the Dodgers won the game by a score of 10-6.

It was also the fifth walk-off grand slam since 1994 in Dodgers history.

With his grand slam, Muncy joined an elite list of franchise greats who had accomplished the same feat.

Also on the list were stars such as Steve Finley, Nomar Garciaparra, Russell Martin, and Andre Ethier.

Ethier’s grand slam was the most recent one, and it came nearly 13 years ago to the day on May 6, 2010.

But on Wednesday, Muncy joined this exclusive list of Dodgers legends while delivering in the clutch to give his team a sixth-straight victory.

After a somewhat slow start to the season, the Dodgers are now six games above the .500 mark while enjoying a 1.5-game lead over the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NL West standings.

The winning streak dates back to last Friday when the Dodgers began their series against the slumping St. Louis Cardinals.

Wednesday’s game-winning grand slam was Muncy’s 12th home run of the year.

In addition to his 12 homers, the 32-year-old has driven in 27 runs while posting a 1.039 OPS in his first 92 at-bats of the season.
