On Wednesday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ season will be on the line, with the team facing elimination for the first time during their second-round playoff series against the top-seeded Boston Celtics.
As if being down 3-1 to arguably the best team in the Eastern Conference wasn’t bad enough, the Cavaliers will be without superstar guard Donovan Mitchell once again in this series, which means their chances of winning this game to keep their season alive are slim to none.
As professional athletes seem to do on a daily basis these days ahead of games, Max Strus appears to be making a statement heading into TD Garden to face the Celtics with the team facing long odds to win Game 5 by wearing a Florida Panthers jersey after the team lost to the Boston Bruins last night, via Celtics on NBC Sports Boston.
The Panthers are currently up 3-2 in their series against the Bruins.

Heading into the first round of the NBA playoffs, the Cavaliers were favored to come out on top against the upstart Orlando Magic, who were coming off their best regular-season performance in a very long time.
However, Paolo Banchero and company came to play in this series as they forced a Game 7, but then couldn’t get over the hump with Mitchell turning it on and sending the Magic home.
Unfortunately for the Cavaliers, a calf strain has sidelined their best player, which is obviously a game-changer for the series, even though the Celtics were favored to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals regardless, where they’d face either the New York Knicks or Indiana Pacers.
