Maxx Crosby is one of the best players in the NFL and is a premier edge rusher for what should be one of the league’s best defensive lines this season, especially after his Las Vegas Raiders added Christian Wilkins at defensive tackle this offseason.
Not only is Crosby one of the best sack artists in the NFL, but he has some impressive basketball skills as well, and he recently mentioned who his favorite NBA player was growing up and why he has “beef with LeBron [James].”
Crosby appeared on “The OGs Show” with Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller and said Dwyane Wade was his favorite player, before commenting on James.
“Once LeBron went to Miami, that’s when my beef started with LeBron, because I couldn’t root for D-Wade the same because they’d call me a bandwagon,” Crosby said.

Crosby grew up in Michigan and said he was a Detroit Pistons fan until Wade came along and was his “savior” as a basketball fan.
You might be able to excuse the bandwagon accusations, because, born in 1997, Crosby was probably just a bit too young to remember the Pistons’ 2004 NBA championship but may have better memories of Wade leading the Heat to the 2006 title.
He only knew awful Pistons basketball as a teen, so choosing to root for Wade, who quickly became one of the most popular players in the league, makes sense.
If all goes according to plan, Crosby could have a new NBA team to root for when Las Vegas gets an expansion team.
