The Arizona Cardinals went into the 2024 NFL Draft with several picks in the top 100 to help bolster a roster that had numerous needs.
Arizona’s night got off to a strong start as they opted to stay put at No. 4 and take Marvin Harrison Jr., a generational wide receiver prospect who will come in and immediately demand targets from Kyler Murray.
However, the Cardinals weren’t done in the first round as they later addressed their defense by taking high-upside edge rusher Darius Robinson, who quickly rose up boards during the draft process.
Arizona had a great Day 2 as they took players who filled various needs like Max Melton, Trey Benson, Isaiah Adams, and Elijah Jones.
Offensively, the Cardinals needed more depth at wide receiver and running back and defensively they had holes in every section of the field.

Kiper is one of the NFL Draft’s leading analysts and evaluators and him giving the Cardinals an “A” should speak volumes about how well they did.
Arizona did well for themselves on Day 3 by taking players that have clear strengths like Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, Xavier Thomas, and Christian Jones.
Overall, the Cardinals are in much better shape heading into the 2024 NFL season than they were a week ago and all of the rookies from their draft class should have a chance to make the roster and make an immediate impact once the new year begins.
