Miami Heat Reportedly Have A Strong Belief About Their Roster

The Miami Heat are a unique team.

They have one of the best — if not the best — coaches in the game, so even though their roster isn’t as talented as others, it just seems like you can never count them out.

The Heat feature scrappy and physical players who work harder than everybody in the league.

Their hustle and the way they outwork their opponents often give them an edge in the playoffs.

But, on paper, at least, they’re just not talented enough to be considered a championship contender right out of the gate.

However, according to insider Barry Jackson, that’s not how they feel about their roster (Via NBA Central).

The Miami Heat believe that their team is good enough to contend at full strength, per @flasportsbuzz

Apparently, they feel like as much as they would like to improve their squad, they’re good enough to compete at the highest level as it is, assuming they’re healthy.

Still, Jackson agrees that it’s hard to either prove or disprove that because the Heat are rarely healthy.

That’s right on point.

The Heat are infamous for how they go all-out in practice every single day of the week.

And while it might be great to separate the weak from those who want it, that might not be the best approach to a full 82-game season.

Perhaps that approach has had plenty to do with their countless soft-tissue injuries or with the fact that Jimmy Butler has run out of gas when he gets deep in the playoffs.

Then again, you just can’t sleep on this team, not now, not ever.
