Few teams in the NFL right now have more off-the-field distractions due to unresolved contract situations than the Dallas Cowboys, who seem to be surrounded by negativity at the moment, especially with superstar wide receiver CeeDee Lamb still waiting to get the contract extension that he wants.
Despite all the distractions—star quarterback Dak Prescott hasn’t gotten a new deal, nor has star linebacker Micah Parsons—the team is still considered to be a Super Bowl title contender heading into the 2024 NFL season, with the team being stacked on both sides of the football.
Parsons seems to be one of the three stars on the team that is content with not having a contract extension right now, as he’ll be patient with the process and simply wants to play football and lead this team to a title.
Apparently, Parsons has been really impressed with rookie defensive end Marshawn Kneeland, who he’s comparing to New Orleans Saints star Cam Jordan, according to Jon Machota of The Athletic.

With the Cowboys’ defense already being arguably one of the best in the NFC, the fact that Dallas might have another rising star on the defensive side of the football is a scary thing for their opponents to accept.
However, Kneeland will have to prove himself on the field before getting any recognition from the fans and the media, as Parsons might simply be talking up the rookie to boost his confidence ahead of Week 1 when the team takes on the Cleveland Browns on the road.
