The quarterback prospects in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft are getting a lot of buzz, with the start of the draft only a week away on April 25, which isn’t all that surprising as it happens every year because these players can become game-changers like C.J. Stroud was last year for the Houston Texans.
Although quarterbacks like Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Drake Maye are stealing all the headlines as of late, the draft is filled with some potential game-changing talent at the wide receiver position.
As of right now, the top prospect at the wide receiver position in this draft is Marvin Harrison Jr., who many believe will be taken No. 4 overall by the Arizona Cardinals.
However, cases are being made for some of the other top-tier prospects at wideout, such as Malik Nabers and Rome Odunze.
Quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who played with Odunze at the University of Washington, believes his former Huskies teammate is the best wide receiver in the draft and explained why to Colin Cowherd of FOX Sports on “The Herd with Colin Cowherd.”
“He’s the best receiver in the draft,” Penix said. “He’s the complete package. He’s everything you want in a receiver.”

Obviously, Penix has a biased opinion when it comes to his former college teammate, but there’s a chance he’s not wrong, as Odunze has gotten a lot of high praise leading up to the draft and will likely be taken in the first round along with Harrison and Nabers.
The only question now is where Odunze will land and how high up he will go on April 25.
