Mikal Bridges of the Brooklyn Nets was incredibly fired up as he sat courtside during Friday night’s WNBA game between the New York Liberty and Washington Mystics.
And he wasn’t there to just root on the team, he was rooting for his friend too.
The Brooklyn Nets tweeted a video of Bridges sharing a sweet moment with Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu after the game.
He was right there to give her a high five, a hug, and commend her on her game.

Bridges was right to give her a pat on the back because Ionescu did a great job.
She scored 29 points and 6 rebounds for the Liberty and was a crucial part of their 90-75 win.
Bridges is showing how much he loves New York sports teams and that is something that fans love to see.
Since coming to the Nets in the middle of the season, Bridges has shown just how special he is.
He averaged 26.1 points a game since suiting up for the Nets, which is quite a step up from his 17.2 before with the Suns.
Some people envision him as the future of the Nets.
Therefore, it is great to see him out there cheering on another New York team, especially one that shares an arena with him.
If the Nets are going to find a lot of victories in the future, they will need Bridges to stay impressive and committed.
His appearance at Friday night’s game and this moment with Ionescu show that he is ready to win with the Nets for some time.
