The Villanova kids are doing pretty well for themselves in the NBA.
Josh Hart just signed a very lucrative four-year extension with the New York Knicks worth up to $81 million, staying put at the Madison Square Garden to continue playing with fellow Wildcats Jalen Brunson and Donte DiVincenzo for years to come.
That’s why Brooklyn Nets star Mikal Bridges doesn’t want to feel left out, so he took to Twitter to ask Hart if he could borrow at least one dollar from his contract extension.
Can i borrow just 1 dollar ? @joshhart

Hart has yet to respond to this hilarious request, but one can only assume he’s going to give his lifelong buddy a helping hand if he’s struggling to make ends meet.
Notably, Bridges also signed a four-year fully-guaranteed contract extension worth north of $90 million, so it’s not like he doesn’t have a couple of bucks to spare.
Brunson got himself $104 million fully guaranteed over four years, so it’s pretty safe to say that those Wildcats really found their footing in the Association.
The best part about this is that they’re still young, so they could get another lucrative contract in their careers at some point, and judging by their current play, that’s exactly what’s about to happen.
Bridges will most likely become the Nets’ building block from now on after that trade from the Phoenix Suns and how he broke out offensively since leaving the desert.
So, worry not, Bridges, just be patient; the money is coming, even if Hart doesn’t want to lend you a buck or two.
