The Milwaukee Bucks were slightly disappointing for most of the season.

Despite having the second-best record in the Eastern Conference, they decided to part ways with coach Adrian Griffin, as they hadn’t been as dominant as they thought they’d be, and they were struggling on defense.

The team didn’t look much better under Doc Rivers at first.

Despite adding Patrick Beverley’s tough defense to the mix, they were still struggling to get some stops.

However, it’s safe to say that they’ve officially flipped the script after the All-Star break, as they have yet to lose a game since the season resumed play.

That’s why sports analyst Mike Greenberg believes they’ve officially arrived.

Talking on ESPN’s Get Up, Greenberg claimed that the Bucks will make it a two-team race with the Boston Celtics by the end of the season, adding that they will be as dangerous as them by playoff time.

That’s not far-fetched to think, as this Bucks team has finally found it’s defensive stride.

They’re playing with more intensity and pride on the defensive end of the floor, and putting points on the scoreboard will never be an issue with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard on the court.

It took them longer than most people expected, and it wasn’t pretty.

But against all odds, and despite all the criticism over the Doc Rivers hire, this team looks like a legitimate NBA championship contender again.
