Nowadays, the NBA has more talent than ever.

The league had never been more prepared for an expansion, at least from a talent standpoint.

Of course, all good teams need more than one star to stand a chance in today’s era.

No one can win on their own, not even Batman.

With that in mind, ESPN analyst Mike Greenberg put together his list of the top five best Robins in today’s game.

At No. 5, he chose Karl-Anthony Towns, whom he gave a lot of credit for allowing Anthony Edwards to take over the Minnesota Timberwolves as their new leader.

He claimed that the Timberwolves are the only team that could stand a chance against the Denver Nuggets, and a lot of that has to do with Towns’ shooting.

Kyrie Irving got the nod at No. 4 for the way he’s playing for the Dallas Mavericks.

While Luka Doncic is the undisputed alpha on this team, Irving is still averaging 26 points per game, and he has a long history of knocking down big shots in the playoffs.

Conversely, Jaylen Brown still has left plenty to be desired in those big moments, but he still made it to the list as the third-best Robin in the playoffs.

Greenberg argued that he might be the best player on this list, but he still has to prove it.

Tyrese Maxey was his choice at No. 2, and he argued that he’s actually been the Philadelphia 76ers’ best player.

He put the team on his shoulders with Joel Embiid, who was struggling with an injury.

Unsurprisingly, he chose Jamal Murray as the best sidekick in the postseason right now.

He lauded him for his two game-winners against the Los Angeles Lakers, adding that no one else has stepped up as much as he’s done dating back to last season’s championship run.
