The NBA playoffs are just around the corner.

And while that’s obviously great news for the fans, some people around the league know that, once again, their legacies could be on the line.

With that in mind, ESPN analyst Mike Greenberg put together his list of the five players under the most pressure ahead of the NBA playoffs.

At No. 5, he chose New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson.

He states that as great as he’s been, they’re now the No. 2 seed, meaning the expectations are going to be quite high, and having to carry the team against the likes of the Miami Heat or Joel Embiid’s Philadelphia 76ers will be complicated.

He later talked about the Los Angeles Clippers’ stars.

Everybody knows what Kawhi Leonard is capable of in the playoffs but most of his co-stars have left something to be desired, and the Clippers no longer look like the team to beat in the Western Conference.

Then, at No. 3, he chose Kevin Durant.

He believes the Phoenix Suns’ star will be hard-pressed to win, as he hasn’t found much success since leaving the Golden State Warriors, not to mention the fact that James Harden or Kyrie Irving will still be in contention.

Doc Rivers got the nod at No. 2.

He talked about how the coach will be under pressure after leaving his job as an analyst, mostly because of his well-known struggles in the playoffs and the fact that he seemingly made the Milwaukee Bucks worse.

Unsurprisingly, the Boston Celtics stand alone at No. 1.

He stated that anything short of a trip to the NBA Finals should be considered a failure, and truth be told, he might be right on point.
