When it rains, it pours, or so it seems, for the 2023 Miami Dolphins.

Right after star CB Jalen Ramsey went down with a long-term injury, standout WR Jaylen Waddle gave them another scare.

The Alabama product went down with an undisclosed injury to his midsection and couldn’t finish practice.

Nonetheless, HC Mike McDaniel recently stated that the third-year pro is doing fine, according to Adam Beasley.

The Head Coach talked about Waddle’s status following the Dolphins’ preseason matchup vs. the Atlanta Falcons, and he talked about his resiliency and how well he’s done in his recovery process.

It’s worth noting that Waddle has been quite healthy and durable for most of his career, both in college and the NFL.

Thus far, Waddle has played in 33 of 34 possible regular seasons game since being drafted out of Alabama, posting back-to-back seasons of 1,000+ receiving yards.

He led the league with 18.1 yards per catch in 2022, creating one of the deadliest duos in the league with Tyreek Hill, and they’re expected to be even better now that Tua Tagovailoa is back to full strength, and it seems like he’s not going to miss time at all, although the coach didn’t reveal the exact date in which he may be able to return to practice.

The Dolphins will continue to provide updates on Jalen Ramsey’s status.

He underwent knee surgery and will most definitely miss the start of the season, but he was still spotted in practice coaching his teammates and looking in good spirits.
