After a Week 3 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, the Pittsburgh Steelers fell flat on their face in their Week 4 blowout loss to the Houston Texans.

The Steelers mustered up only six points in the humbling defeat while allowing the young Texans squad to drop 30 almost effortlessly.

Pittsburgh found themselves trailing almost from the jump as C.J. Stroud and Houston were able to move the football without very much resistance.

Meanwhile, the Steelers’ offense could hardly get anything going and went into halftime trailing 16-0.

Things picked up a bit in the third quarter as Pittsburgh was able to convert on a couple of field goals, but injuries to Kenny Pickett and Pat Freiermuth effectively ended any sort of hope for a comeback.

After suffering the terrible loss, Mike Tomlin was blunt when it came to the future of the team via PFF.

“Hell yeah there’s going to be changes,” Tomlin said.

What those changes are remains to be seen, but Tomlin has every right to be upset with the roster as they didn’t come ready to play.

The Texans should get credit for the win as they have been a surprisingly competitive team through four weeks, but fans expected more from a Steelers team that is generally well-coached.

There isn’t an update on Pickett’s status after he was ruled out of the game due to an injury, so there could be some changes elsewhere.

Offensively, there are a few tweaks that can be made while the defense could also experience changes so Tomlin will have to evaluate everything this coming week.
