The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to fly under the radar amongst AFC playoff contenders.
Most of that is because the way they win games is unconventional.
Last week was the first time the Steelers out-gained their opponent in a game this season.
All it took was a new offensive coordinator and play-caller to finally show progress.
While the offense may have finally turned a corner, the defense has been what the team has relied on all year.
Pittsburgh’s defense has kept them in every game and that is a big reason why they are 7-4.
Now their best unit is set to get even stronger.
According to Brooke Pryor, Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick said he is playing this Sunday.
Fitzpatrick has not played since October 29, and he will be a welcomed addition to the Steelers secondary.

Fitzpatrick has been one of the best safeties in football ever since joining the Steelers.
He was traded from the Miami Dolphins to the Steelers in 2019 and he has been named first-team All-Pro three times while in Pittsburgh.
As if the Steelers’ defense could not play any better, they get one of their leaders back.
It will be interesting to see how they do against the Arizona Cardinals and quarterback Kyler Murray.
Murray is a dual threat and is starting to get back into a groove after missing the first nine games of the season.
The Steelers are still in the hunt for the AFC North title, but they need to keep pace with the Baltimore Ravens.
They cannot afford to drop winnable games as we enter December.
