Every MLB fan is waiting to see some of the big free agents come off the board.
We have already seen the biggest singing in baseball history this offseason with Shohei Ohtani.
But, there are many more great players still available.
One player that most teams are interested in is Japanese pitching star Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
He is 25 years old and has the potential to be one of the best pitchers in baseball.
MLB analyst Eduardo Perez recently said via MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM: “He’s at the right place at the right time.”

Some of the best teams in baseball want to land Yamamoto.
There seems to be a great chance he will end up with a big-market team.
It is looking like Yamamoto’s contract will come close to or exceed $300 million.
We have seen many great players come over from Japan in recent years.
The most recent were Kodai Senga and Masataka Yoshida.
Both had fantastic rookie seasons in MLB and it goes to show it is worth taking a chance on the Japanese free agents.
Many people wonder how Yamamoto’s game will transfer to MLB.
But, he may be the best Japanese player since Ohtani and that alone should have plenty of teams interested.
It will not be much longer until Yamamoto decides where he wants to play.
But, if he wants to be on the biggest stage look for him to head to one of the New York teams.
Whichever team ends up with Yamamoto should be thrilled that they landed a potential ace.
