The Arizona Diamondbacks are a team that may fly under the radar this season.
After the emergence of young stars such as Corbin Carroll late last season, hope has been ignited for this season and beyond.
In addition to already having Carroll, Zac Gallen, Joe Mantiply, Merrill Kelly, Ketel Marte, and others, they signed a few key pieces in Evan Longoria and Andrew Chafin, while also trading for stars such as Kyle Lewis, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. and Gabriel Moreno.
Through their first six games, they are 3-3 and sit just one game back of the first-place Los Angeles Dodgers in the NL West.
On MLB Now, several analysts commented on what they’ve been seeing from this squad and what they like so far.

It creates this energy that they have right now, and they feed off of that.”@StevePhillipsGM and #MLBNow discuss what they’ve seen from this @Dbacks squad early on.@Boporter16Bo | @mikelowell25 | #Dbacks pic.twitter.com/D6TbIX8gLa

Mike Lowell started by referring to Arizona’s comeback against the San Diego Padres on Tuesday as “Baseball 101.”
He pointed out the energy they’re playing with and how they are essentially forcing the Padres and other teams to play at a much faster pace than they’d like to.
Bo Porter echoed Lowell’s sentiments, saying that ultimately games are going to be won between the lines rather than with money spent.
Porter also praised the team for their athleticism and the ability to play a fast-paced game.
Finally, former GM Steve Phillips chimed in and noted that the young stars are playing an exciting brand of baseball and are also playing for one another.
He noted how the team feeds off of each other and how the energy translates into positive results.
