The Los Angeles Dodgers cannot seem to stay healthy in regards to their starting pitching.
They have seen many of their starters take trips to the injured list this season and just received more bad news.
The Dodgers were hoping for a big season from 25-year-old Dustin May.
But the injury bug has gotten him as well.
According to Alden Gonzalez, May will undergo season-ending surgery to repair the flexor tendon in his right elbow.
Dustin May, who will soon undergo surgery to repair the flexor tendon in his right elbow, won’t pitch this season, but the Dodgers won’t have a precise timetable until after the procedure. They were already expected to be in the market for starting pitching, so, yeah.

He will miss the remainder of the season and the Dodgers need to make some moves at pitcher.
With the trade deadline coming up at the end of July, the Dodgers need to make some trades.
They have received some unexpected competition from the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NL West.
The D-Backs currently have a 2.5-game lead over the Dodgers in the division.
It will be interesting to see which kind of starting pitcher the Dodgers make a play for.
One of the top names that might be available is Cleveland Guardians starter Shane Bieber.
He is a former Cy Young winner and the Guardians may be looking to move him before he can hit free agency.
Making the playoffs is a must in LA, as you cannot spend the amount of money they do and not play in the postseason.
The Dodgers are the one team always looking to make a big move around the trade deadline.
Is it possible they are loading up to make a run at Shohei Ohtani?
That would be the type of move to make them World Series favorites.
