We are now just one day away from the official trade deadline.

Contending teams are set to make some moves and put the finishing touches on their roster for the stretch run.

Other teams that are out of contention are looking to maximize returns for their assets.

Typically, it’s pitching that is the hottest commodity on the trade market this time of year, but other areas of teams’ rosters may be in need of some fine tuning.

Jon Morosi of MLB Network noted that right-handed bats are currently a valuable commodity.

On Twitter, he listed a few players that some contending teams might want to take a look at.

Mark Canha and Tommy Pham are two right-handed bats that teams may have interest in, especially with the New York Mets selling this year at the trade deadline.

Morosi listed teams such as the New York Yankees, Miami Marlins, Toronto Blue Jays, and Philadelphia Phillies as teams interested in adding righty bats.

The Colorado Rockies just sent two viable right-handed hitters to the Los Angeles Angels in C.J. Cron and Randal Grichuk.

However, the market still consists of several top righty bats.

Paul DeJong is one bat that a contending team could be looking for.

The St. Louis Cardinals began their selloff on Sunday, and DeJong could be on the move soon.

The Yankees have dealt with several injuries in their outfield this year, and even with Aaron Judge back, they could potentially find a spot for a righty bat.

The next two days should be interesting leading up to the deadline.
