The Atlanta Braves visited the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday.
The game hosted two Venezuelan MLB stars, one on each team: Ronald Acuna Jr. from the Braves, and Miguel Cabrera from the Tigers.
The former is an up-and-coming talent with concrete chances of winning his first NL MVP award this year.
The latter is a 40-year-old veteran who has achieved everything there is to achieve in baseball: a World Series title, batting titles, two MVP awards, a Triple Crown, 500 home runs, 3,000 hits, 600 doubles, and many more.
Acuna and Cabrera also happen to be teammates on the Venezuelan national team and friends.
On Wednesday, they shared a heartfelt moment and took a legendary picture that will live forever in the minds of Venezuelan fans.

Experience and youth.
Past and future.
The master and the protégé.
Call it what you want, but it was a marvelous encounter to witness.
Acuna entered the day hitting .328/.399/.560 with 13 home runs and 28 stolen bases, leading the race for the MVP award in the National League.
Cabrera, on the other hand, has struggled all season and hit his first home run of the year on Wednesday, against Spencer Strider.
He is playing his last season as a professional.
You could almost say that Cabrera is passing the torch to a young, talented generation of Venezuelan hitters such as Acuna, Jose Altuve, Luis Arraez, and several others.
We are sure Acuna enjoyed growing up watching Cabrera’s achievements; and that Cabrera will root for his countryman to win the MVP award this year.
