The hit video game MLB The Show will officially hit the shelves on Tuesday.
Those who preordered the game got early access as soon as Friday, but Tuesday is the day that the game will officially release.
And so, with Opening Day arriving in a few short days, those who developed the game decided to run their simulations for the 2023 season.
On MLB Network, analysts discussed the simulations and what MLB The Show predicts will happen in this season in terms of who will win the World Series and who will ultimately take home the major accolades, such as the MVP Awards and the Cy Young Awards.
Yordan Alvarez – AL MVP?
Joe Musgrove – NL Cy Young?

The game predicted that the Atlanta Braves will emerge victorious in the World Series over the Houston Astros, just as they did in 2021.
For the MVPs, Yordan Alvarez is expected to take home the honors in the American League, while Pete Alonso is expected to do so in the National League.
The Cy Young winners are expected to be Jacob deGrom in the American League and Joe Musgrove in the National League.
These are all interesting predictions, but they could ultimately come true.
deGrom is back from a shoulder injury that cost him most of the 2022 season, while Musgrove is ready to lead the Padres to another magical postseason run.
Alonso won Rookie of the Year in 2019 and appears to be on track for another strong season at the plate.
Alvarez was in the running for the MVP last season and should have an opportunity to take the award this season.
