The Los Angeles Dodgers are once again red-hot and are preparing to pull away from the rest of the pack in the National League West division.
With a 5-1 win at Citi Field over the New York Mets, the Dodgers ran their winning streak up to six games and increased their lead in the NL West to two games over the Arizona Diamondbacks, who have now lost three in a row.
Leading the way for the Dodgers was Mookie Betts, who has hit 10 home runs in his last 17 games.
After the Dodgers win, Betts caught up with Ken Rosenthal and discussed his recent hot stretch.
“Throughout the season I am actually trying to get stronger, and stronger, and stronger so I can be the best player I can be.”

Betts homered off of Mets starter Kodai Senga in Saturday’s win.
He said his plan was to find a good pitch to hit and do some damage with it, while also doing what he could to not fall behind Senga.
Betts is now eight home runs shy of tying his career-high in home runs that he set last year.
The former MVP and two-time World Series champion says he feels confident in the work he’s put in this season, revealing that his plan going into the 2023 season was to get a little bit stronger so that he could be the best possible version of himself.
Betts owns a .287 average and has already hit 27 home runs this season.
The seven-time All-Star has also driven in 64 runs while reaching base at a .387 clip and slugging .596 on the year.
The Dodgers will now look to sweep the Mets on Sunday.
