The Sacramento Kings just had their best season in years and are now officially a team to watch again.

After years and years of sitting at the bottom of the Western Conference, the Kings are giving fans something to be excited about.

As good as they were this season, they are intent on getting even better before the fall.

According to Jake Fischer, via Cameron Salerno, there is a lot of speculation around the league that the Kings are up to something, possibly something big.

This speculation has been generated because of the Kings recently making some draft-day moves and their assumed interest in trading away Harrison Barnes.

This has “left many league personnel of the mind that Sacramento has a specific move up its sleeve — not just renegotiating and extending All-NBA center Domantas Sabonis,” according to Fischer.

Fischer went on to say that the Kings might have their sights set on multiple NBA stars.

One of the most popular ideas is the Kings signing Khris Middleton, currently of the Milwaukee Bucks.

But they might also decide to pursue Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors, or perhaps Kyle Kuzma of the Washington Wizards.

Because of the recent deals they have made, the Kings currently have more than $25 million to use.

They are one of the most exciting young teams in the league but they are eager to get even better.

Perhaps a veteran star who has played in the postseason multiple times would give the Kings the sort of experience and expertise they need to make their next playoff run even better.

All eyes are currently on the Kings to see what direction they take in the next few weeks.
