The first In-Season Tournament is over and it featured great performances from some of the biggest stars in the league.
The NBA is now highlighting five of the best athletes during the first-of-its-kind tournament.
According to Shams Charania, the league just unveiled the first-ever All-NBA In-Season Tournament team.
The team consists of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, Tyrese Haliburton, and LeBron James.

None of these choices are very surprising, as all of them played amazing basketball during the tournament.
It’s also not shocking to see two players from the Lakers, as that team swept through the IST and won the first NBA Cup against the Indiana Pacers.
Speaking of the Pacers, the inclusion of Haliburton on this list is just further proof that he might be having the best season of his career.
Haliburton has been a terrific player for years but he has been gaining a lot more attention this season, averaging 26.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and a league-high 12.1 assists per game.
His team’s stunning showing in the tournament gave him a lot more exposure and a wide national audience was able to see him shine.
It is unlikely that this will be the last honor Haliburton receives this year and there are many people who think he will be an All-Star and perhaps even MVP or Most Improved Player.
The In-Season Tournament has been a big hit in many ways, even though some people weren’t sure how it would turn out when it was first announced in the summer.
Although the Lakers ultimately took home the top prize, the entire league ended up winning because of the tournament, which is sure to return next season.
