The Cleveland Cavaliers have gone 3-7 in their last 10 games and recently gave up a huge lead to the Los Angeles Clippers.

They have been looking rough in a number of ways lately.

They are still the fifth team in the East, which means they have a spot in the playoffs right now, but a lot could change for the team if they continue to struggle in the postseason.

According to Hoops Wire, head coach J.B. Bickerstaff could be fired if the team “underwhelms” in the playoffs.

“J.B. could get fired if the Cavs don’t make it to the conference finals,” an inside source told Hoops Wire.

They added: “He was almost fired earlier in the season before the team got its act together. There are people inside that organization who can’t fathom how a team with Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland is so poor at scoring the ball.

The season has been filled with a lot of good and bad for the Cavaliers.

They have faced a ton of huge injuries and unnecessary losses but have also found great success even when people had counted them out.

For a stretch of time, they were one of the most exciting teams in the league and were racing up the Eastern Conference standings.

Lately, the Cavaliers have been experiencing troubles and it has come at the worst time.

Right now, there are many people worried about how the playoffs will pan out for Cleveland.

Everyone remembers last year when the team was easily pushed out by the New York Knicks in the first round even though they had home-court advantage.

Although Bickerstaff is contracted with the team through the 2026-27 season, he could be given his walking papers early if things don’t go well in the weeks ahead.
