Malcolm Brogdon is celebrated as one the smartest and most reliable guards in the NBA and has done a lot for the multiple teams he has played for.
But after just one year with the struggling Portland Trail Blazers, Brogdon may be on the move again.
According to Mike Scotto, per Evan Sidery, executives throughout the league are “monitoring the potential availability” of Brogdon leading up to the draft.
The young Trail Blazers are attempting to rebuild their roster and letting Brogdon go could fetch them a few more draft picks and help them with their long-term plans.

The Blazers currently have four picks in next month’s draft, which is very good news for their attempts to rebuild in a post-Damian Lillard era.
They have a few goals in the draft, including improving their awful three-point shooting.
Brogodon is a strong shooter and experienced veteran who brings a ton of knowledge and skill to the team.
He is entering the final year of his contract and is promised $22.5 million for the next season.
Instead of sticking with Brogdon and letting him educate and mentor their young roster, Portland could instead choose to trade him to another team that has some enticing draft picks.
This would give away one of their best shooters but it would also enhance their rebuilding process.
Brogdon played for the Milwaukee Bucks, Indiana Pacers, and Boston Celtics before heading to the Blazers in the summer.
Just last season, he earned Sixth Man of the Year for his expert work with the Celtics.
Since coming to the Blazers, he has averaged 15.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 5.5 assists on 44% from the field and 41.2% from the three-point line.
