The Indiana Pacers are one of the deepest teams in the league right now.
They have a plethora of young players, and Rick Carlisle gave most of them plenty of opportunities to play, even in the playoffs.
Nonetheless, they also have a bit of a logjam in the frontcourt, and keeping Pascal Siakam around won’t do much to help their case.
That’s why, with Siakam being their No. 1 priority and Obi Toppin’s contract extension also looming large, league executives are keeping tabs on another of their power forwards.
According to a report by Mike Scotto of HoopsHype, people around the league will inquire about the availability of Jarace Walker (via Evan Sidery).
If the Pacers decide to re-sign Obi Toppin to a long-term deal, rival executives wonder about the potential availability of Jarace Walker, per @MikeAScotto (https://t.co/c7wZcnqt1v).

Siakam, Toppin, and Myles Turner being there will most likely hamper Walker’s ability to get playing time.
He was a five-star recruit not so long ago, and he was the No. 8 pick just last season.
Walker spent plenty of time in the G-League, and he might not be able to get the playing time he needs to develop in Indiana for the time being.
Walker is strong, physical, and has the athletic tools to be an elite rim runner and dominant rebounder.
And if the Pacers don’t think he can contribute to winning right away, they could most likely get some decent value in return for his services.
Of course, that will also depend on whether they believe Obi Toppin makes more sense for them for the foreseeable future, which is something some Pacers fans might debate.
